The New World of KOSHKA

Hallo Hello!
if you’re reading this that means you’ve decided to step into the new world of KOSHKA by Emis The Cat! Or you’re lost in the internet and decided to read this out of either boredom or curiosity. Either way, WELCOME!!
Over the past 3 years, we’ve created video content for our social media pages called KOSHKATalk where we would update you all on our brand and anything new that was on the horizon. As we’ve entered this new chapter of our existence as a company, we’ve decided to transition our KOSHKATalks to written form content. It gives us an opportunity to better get our message across and elaborate. Plus it gives me (Kylie Gore, Founder/Creative Director) an opportunity to sit still and reflect and write.
As i’m writing this it is Mid-May, I’m in Manhattan Beach,CA and we’re knee deep in the process of building a bigger and better home for my brand and also re-building what was already created for our Summer 2025 collection. It’s been long days and long nights of working on the site you are reading this from. The turnaround from transitioning everything from Spri.ng to Shopify has been intense.
Truth be told, I knew at some point we would have to move and scale up the business into something bigger since our capabilities with our previous storefront were starting to become limited based on what we wanted to create and what our vision for the future of KOSHKA was. It was very scary to have what makes up 80% of my business abruptly taken away from me. But any change is scary and more often than not, it is good!

As you’re reading this, TULIPMANIA is out and our new reimagined Core Collection is out as well. Both have become some of my proudest work for KOSHKA as I’ve been able to bring my true and complete vision to life for what I wanted this collection to look like and I was also able to re-invent what our original collection that launched in 2019 was. It’s been the most aggressively inspiring past few weeks and as I’m writing this, it’s paid off.
Looking forward to the future, my hope is to be able to update our KOSHKATalks at the very least, once every 2 weeks. Possibly once a week. That depends on the kind of content I want to write about and if there’s anything new on the way.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and get excited because so much is coming for the remainder of the year!
